Nature Meets Design

Nature has always influenced design - from the symmetry of flowers to the way colors work together in natural ecosystems.
Many designers explore ideas through the Biomimicry Institute, or look at visual inspiration in National Geographic Nature to better understand how organic systems can guide digital interfaces.

In nature, colors are never random.

Some plants and animals use bold colors and strong contrast to stand out, while others use softer tones to blend in.
